The Kjar Family wanted to get a picture of all the grandkids together as a Christmas gift for their parents so we met up at Wheeler Farm. It was pretty chily out, but the kids did a great job and we got some really cute pictures!
Then one of the individual families wanted their picture taken too, so we took a few minutes (it goes so much faster when there aren’t little kids!) and got some cute family photos for them too!
Hope you enjoyed them! Up next: more of the Kjar family!
Kalin heard about me from my cousin Bekah (thanks!), and then emailed me to set up a Family photo session. We went out to the Lehi Railroad Depot Museum and the area around it. It’s a really good spot to take pictures because there are so many different textures and who doesn’t love railroad tracks? Hope you enjoy them!
The Mackenzie’s called me a couple weeks ago to take their family portrait, and they wanted lots of colorful fall leaves in their pictures, so we me up at the Tanners Flat campground up Little Cottonwood Canyon. It was PERFECT timing for the brightest, most amazing fall colors. They were so easy to photograph, and their adorable kids were so cooperative. Take a look at their cute shots and let me know what you think!
On a side note, check out the awesomeness of the outfit coordination here. This is a perfect example of mixing complimentary colors/patterns without being too matchy, and without clashing, and going with the theme of their background (fall leaves). Perfect. Just perfect.
Meet the Bos family! These guys were super easy to work with and photograph. Everyone smiled really good the entire time. I think it’s the fastest I’ve ever finished a family session. Their three daughters are so cute! I had a lot of fun taking their pictures :) Let me know what you think!
Remember my friend Meg? If not, click here. Little baby L was born and I had the wonderful opportunity to take a few snaps of him at the hospital when he was just hours old. He’s so precious. I’m going to meet up with them for his “official” shoot really soon so watch for those in the next couple weeks!
I met up with these guys a couple weeks ago and we cruised up Little Cottonwood Canyon to get some fall family pictures. It was actually pretty cold up at the top so we had to take the pictures super fast, but we still ended up getting a lot of really cute ones. Hope you like them!
Here’s the rest of Meg’s maternity pictures with baby #2. He was born last saturday, yay! We took a few of her first little Mister being excited about having a baby brother too. I always love taking pictures of Meghan, she’s been my friend longer than any other friend I have. How long you ask? SEVENTEEN years! Yeah, we’re the best of friends. Anyway, on to the pictures! And stay tuned for the newborn pictures of her new baby :)
These two below are my most favorites.
This cat found us, and then followed us EVERYWHERE. I was scared it was gonna try to follow me home.
I’m posting this one because it’s funny. I had this idea in my head (on the right) but, it didn’t turn out ATALL how I wanted it to. And the picture on the left, it’s kind of hard to tell, but I was trying to stand on the tire swing and balance so I could take the picture on the right, we were laughing pretty hard.
This is another family that my Husband and I are friends with! They live in our ward and are our home teachers and past fellow primary teacher and past primary class student (tear), so we see them a lot and it’s great! :) Kristen makes the best treats in the world, so we love having Dave & Zach as our home teachers. Haha, no really, they’re great, it’s not just about the treats. I promise. For their family pictures we went to the Temple Quarry Trail at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon. It was my first time there and it has quickly become a new favorite location. I’ve shot two sessions there since this one (including my own, yay!) and have atleast one more planned, so expect to start seeing it a lot on the blog. There are a lot of fun pictures from this session, so make sure to tell me which one your favorite is!
Everybody meet The Judds! (not The Judds) These guys are some good friends of ours, Jason actually introduced my husband and I, and he works with me at my ‘regular’ job as well. Anyway, they decided it was time for some new pictures of little miss Jenica and thought they better do family pictures as well. We went to Wheeler Farm and it was a great day! Jenica was SOGOOD and we got a ton of really cute pictures. Hope you like them :)
